Sweet romance with TONS of heat...

~*~ 3.5 STARS ~*~ Wrapped and Strapped by Lorelei James was a sweet romance with TONS of heat! Although, this wasn’t a favorite of mine from the Blacktop Cowboys series, doesn’t mean I don’t recommend it. I recommend this book to all of those cowboy-lovin’ romance readers out there. And let’s face it, the author is Lorelei James, so you know the sex scenes are going to be SCORCHING hot and intensely erotic! This is exactly why I keep coming back for more.

Hugh Pritchett screwed up BIG TIME years ago. He has been burned in the past by a vile woman and he is very leery at going through that again. His heart was broken and it can’t take another blow. A night of passion turns into regret and he is left to wallow in his mistakes.

Harlow Pratt, the woman with the biggest heart, never stays in one place for too long. Hugh just happened to make it much easier to leave as soon as possible. Her heart was broken by Hugh years ago, and when she fled, she promised she would never come back. A family matter forces her to return and face her family and Hugh head on. She knows she will never be who her family wants her to be, but with Hugh, she wasn’t expecting a change in him. She also wasn’t expecting to still feel things for him, even though she knows it will never work out. They can’t stand each other, right? Harlow is determined to not fall back in the same pattern with Hugh. But the attraction is just too strong. When they finally give in to their desires, they are putting their hearts at risk once again.

Even though this book didn’t make my heart pound like the previous installments, it packed no less of an emotional punch. It’s sweet. It’s sexy. It’s a scorcher for sure. The connection between the characters are there and I believe the heroine was the big winner for me in this story. This was worth the read!

Another great couple - Hugh and Harlow

It was another great book in her Blacktop Cowboy series. I love this series and these characters. Harlow and Hugh are not your typical couple and this book was different from her other books in this series since it went back and forth from their previous encounters to the present. I loved that and I loved their relationship. I also love the relationship between her sister and her, her and her Father, and her sister and her sister's husband, etc., all of these relationships, including old and new friends was believeable. All these characters could be your friends, neighbors, or family. That is one of the best things about any Lorelei James book, her honesty and believability. I think it's a great addition to this series and I recommend that you read this and each and every book in this series.

A story about family, values, and compromise in its highest form.

Harlow and Hugh are simply perfect together. They've struck sparks off one another time and time again. Her volunteer work has kept her traveling around the world - sometimes to her detriment. She survived a dangerous abusive relationship and is back in Wyoming to help her family. Hugh is there waiting for her. Finding their way to a relationship is challenging; but it's fun, entertaining, and heartwarming as we journey with them through their ups and downs and miscommunications. They do find love and togetherness through compromise proving that two strong, very different people can find a way to bridge their differences.

Well kept hidden history from the American public

If the whole nation read this book, most would take this as utter nonsense. "Well if all this was true, we would know about it!" No, wrong my fellow citizen. That theory would contradict this whole book. It would contradict the basic principles of The Tavistock Institute of Human Relations. Their aim is not to inform you on their controlling actions in our society but to use scientific methods that are well known to work in discreetly "brainwashing" the public.

The Tavistock Institute of Human Relations was created in 1921 at Oxford by The Royal Institute for International Affairs and later funded by the Rockefeller Foundation. It is the core for mass indoctrination and global manipulation. From Wars to the media, it has effected it all.

This book has 35 short but detailed chapters. Some of which are:

"The Tavistock Institute for Human Relations has had a profound effect on the moral, spiritual, cultural, political and economic policies of the United States and Great Britain. It has been in the front line of the attack on the U.S. Constitution and State constitutions. No group did more to propagandize the U.S to participate in the WWI at a time when the majority of the American people were opposed to it.

"Much of the same tactics were used by the Social Science scientists at Tavistock to get the US into WWII, Korea, Vietnam, Serbia and both wars in Iraq. Tavistock began as a propaganda creating and disseminating organization at Wellington House in London in the run-up to WWI, what Toynbee called "that black hole of disinformation." On another occasion Toynbee called Wellington House "a lie factory." From a somewhat crude beginning, Wellington House evolved into the Tavistock Institute and went on to shape the destiny of Germany, Russia, Britain and the United States in a highly controversial manner. The people of these nations were unaware that they were being "brainwashed." The origin of "mind control," "inner directional conditioning" and mass "brainwashing" is explained in an easy to understand book written with great authority.

"The fall of dynasties, the Bolshevik Revolution, WWI and WWII saw the destruction of old alliances and boundaries, the convulsions in religion, morals, family life, economic and political conduct, decadence in music and art can all be traced back to mass brainwashing practiced by the Tavistock Institute....."

Great Book!!!! Love it!!

This was a true page turner. The book grabs you from page one with Julia's attempt to kidnap Deverell and I truly could not put it down once I had started.

Julia and Deverell are two very likeable characters. The sexual tension that they shared was very strong and very believable. Julia is unable to resist Deverell even though she believes (wrongly) that he was the cause of her brother's death. It was also interesting to see the development of the secondary romance.

The characters were all very well developed. Some of the dialogue will have you laughing out loud.

Overall the book is very well written and if you have never read Ms. Camp's works, you need to give her a try. You will definitely enjoy it.

This is not the first Camp book I've read, and again she didn't disappoint. It was different from the series, The Lost Heirs Series, but in a good way. The premise of the book was different, which is usually a hit or miss with most people. For me at least I thought it was a hit.
The heroine, Julia, is a flame-haired lady that has scandal attached to her name. It started when her brother, Selby, was accused of embezzlement by another trustee member and friend, the hero, Lord Deverel Stonehaven. She believes that he wrongly accused her brother that ultimately led to his death. Julia sets out to find out the truth by seducing Deverel. The plot takes an interesting twist that ultimately forces them to marry.
I thought, the plot, characters and interactions were well written but with all books there were some flaws. I thought Deverel was so sure of the proof he had against Selby and didn't believe Julia most of the time (which sort of got annoying). Julia was a strong character, but I think that some of her reasoning for thinking her brother was innocent were not written well. But these flaws can be overlooked by the secondary characters, Phoebe, Cousin Geffory, and Gilbert. It added some laughter to a serious but loving book.

I will keep this one. Very strong attraction between Dev & Julia. Both are very likable. She is beautiful, smart, witty,and virginal with a spirited personality. He is handsome, strong, witty and honorable. Enjoyed the kidnappings and laughed at the scene when he visits her house, not knowing her alter identity. The story is entertaining and interesting. The characters are well developed. There is only mild tension from the "evil-doers". (I dislike stories that make you feel nervous tension or dread. If they must, I like for it to be short-lived and resolved quickly.) I really liked this book and recommend it.

beautiful, but...
By home and school
The art work is exquisite. It makes me want to stick to my daily plans just to have to flip the pages! It's also the reason that I don't rate this planner any lower. The disappointing feature is the glossy photo paper it was printed on, making it highly impractical. If you use a pencil, it's impossible to erase a mistake because your strokes will press into the thick paper. So even if the lead is gone, your words are still "carved" and visible. If you use a pen, you will have smudges everywhere because the ink takes forever to dry on glossy paper.

The space allotted for each day is small, and so are the squares in the monthly calendar. But despite its impractical features, it's still so beautiful I'm finding a way to make it work! Just wanted to give potential buyers a heads up.

Lovely artwork, nice way to keep notes on daily activities

I am enjoying the format and artwork of this diary and I appreciate the space that allows me to keep track of appointments, activities and memorable moments. Many of the dated daily spaces are covered with artwork, making it difficult to write voer the artwork. Other than that I am enjoying the diary.
