valuable study tool!

I love this Bible! The resources are phenomenal, and the book quality is very good for the price! I love the in-text definitions of old words, and the topic theme lines are really handy for following themes throughout the Bible. If you want to learn the KJV and have a valuable study resource, this is your Bible!

One note on the size, it is large enough that this is not a personal size, you will want a desk or surface to read this on as opposed to just holding it while you read.

This will be a gift we give in our Church to Bible students!

This is what the New King James was promised to be, but failed.

This is a true modern King James Bible.

I love this bible! There are many features, but most important feature is that it is word for word, a King James - Received Text Bible. The difference is that some of the words have been updated to a more modern English and the archaic words are defined (not removed) after the verse. The changes to "ye", "thee", "thy", "thine", etc. have been changed to the modern equivalents - except if the original word meant more than one person, there is a superset "p" after the word meaning that it is plural. For example, "ye" is changed to "you(p)".

The next great feature is the built in chain reference to over 100 subjects that reference thousands of verses. The first verse will have a link to the next, then that verse will link to the next, and so on all throughout the bible.

The words of God in the Old Testament and the words of Jesus in the New Testament are in red, plus the quotations of God's words are circled in red. This is especially nice when something from the Old Testament is quoted.

There are many features too! Like a definition of biblical terms in the front part of the bible, a practical dictionary/concordance, and many other helps, articles, and tables all in the back part of the Bible that are extremely useful.

The cover and binding are great, although I would like to see a version with a premium leather cover. The "Duotone" and other "leather" materials are pretty nice, though.

I have this and the slimline version. I have given the KJVER Study Bible as a gift several times and have also recommended it to several people in our church. This is what the "New King James Bible" promised to be, but failed miserably. I use both this and the AV as my bibles. I test anything that sounds strange in any modern translation, with the AV King James.

One caution though, do not expect these features in the 'slimline' version. The slimline version only has the text and concordance/dictionary, but not the chain reference or other features. The Study Bible costs just a bit more and has many more features that make it a bargain compared to the slimline version.

This book met my every expectation. Findings books that deal with the history and beginning of the industrial revolution can be hard to come by. This book is a reprint of the actual catalog and is to full scale size which allows people, like myself, to recreate tools of the past that can be used in the present.

Currently he works in the Design Technology and Solutions division, where he supports formal verification usage for Intel teams worldwide. In his spare time he hosts the “Math Mutation” podcast, and serves as an elected director on the Hillsboro school board.

Tom recently joined the Electrical and Computer Engineering faculty at Portland State University and directs a graduate track in Design Verification and Validation. Previously, he was at Intel Corporation for 17 years in Hillsboro, Oregon, where he managed Intel's largest pre-silicon validation formal verification team develop and apply FPV techniques on multiple generations of microprocessor designs. Tom received a PhD in Computer Science from the University of California, Davis.

Kiran has been working at intel India for past 11 years and has worked in various areas of the chip design cycle which includes RTL design, structural design, circuit design, simulation and various levels of verification including formal verification. Currently he leads the formal verification efforts for the graphics design in Visual Platform Group and supports formal verification at intel india site.

Comprehensive Formal Methodology Based on Intel's 20 Year Deployment Experience

This book is targeted at RTL designers who want to become proficient with formal verification. It presents a staged adoption methodology starting from early design bring-up, through formal bug-hunting, to formal sign-off. In addition to traditional property checking, it also covers selected formal "Apps" including standard protocol checking, unreachable coverage, connectivity checking, and CSR verification. There is a chapter on equivalence checking, including sequential equivalence, and a chapter on complexity management detail several advanced abstraction techniques. Though most of the focus is on practical applications, there is also a chapter giving a high level description of BDD and SAT algorithms.
The discussions and examples are tool and vendor independent so this is not a replacement for tool-specific training. Many techniques are illustrated with code examples and waveforms that are complex enough to illustrate the methodology but also simple enough to follow without too much effort. The discussion starts at the beginning, assuming only knowledge of RTL design and simulation, but it progresses to advanced techniques that would benefit even expert-level readers.
I have been teaching formal verification tools and techniques to industrial practitioners for many years and I believe this book is the first to focus on adoption by designers and to present such a comprehensive methodology. I will certainly be recommending it to my customers and colleagues.

A MUST HAVE BOOK!

The subtitle of this book, "Essential Toolkit for Modern VLSI Design", has definitely met its mark, and more! This is because the authors thoroughly expressed their practical knowledge of this complex, and misunderstood topic, in an easy to read presentation. I particularly appreciated many aspects of this book, including:
1. The maturity derived from extensive years of work experiences, with successes and pitfalls.
2. The organization and presentation of the subject matters, including the progression of knowledge being presented for easier absorption of the topics.
3. The practical tips derived from actual usage of formal verification and from real designs.
4. The various approaches, or angles of attack, in using formal verification when verifying different types of designs and situations.
5. The test case examples, and progression of solutions in achieving the end goals.
In summary, I strongly recommend this book to design and verification engineers who are contemplating, or are currently using formal verification; I certainly learned a lot from it!

Save time and money! Buy this book - Disclosure, I know the Author!

Kieron Dowling has been a friend of mine for well over 10 years. We met at a friend's house and I was instantly fascinated by everything he said. He is a master story teller and raconteur. He is side splittingly funny. We became firm friends and until I purchased this book I could not for the life of me work out why Kieron had been such a huge hit in the life of me and my children who adored him. This man is probably one of the best read and creative people I know and I'm an artist I know a lot of creative people! Kieron's energy is different and until now I could not work out why.

Maybe if we lived in a different time and place he would have been a religious man but he's not. He is they type of man that when you talk about him, to someone who has not met him - they are sceptical of the type of relationship you have had. My current partner was --- until he met him.
My actual relationship with Kieron was, that for a while he and his partner became very good friends to me while I was going through a marriage breakup. But we didn't sit for hours and focus on the negative things. Within two weeks I was back on my feet and keen to start afresh.
They would turn up and we would just go out and do something like go for a drive for half a day. Every time a little bit of magic would happen, nothing earth shattering, just that everywhere we went something amazing would happen - Two flat tyres in the middle of nowhere, and up would turn a knight in shining armour - who not only drove us an hour and a half back to the nearest town to get the tyre, but then drove us all the way back to the car to fit it. What would have been a catastrophic day for some people, turned into an amazing fun filled day of laughter for all of us.

In this book Kieron quickly and concisely tells us his secret - there's no chapters and chapters of spin and padding. In fact the reason it only got 4 stars is because I thought it could have been a little longer and had a few more "instances" but that is probably because I wanted to spend more time reading him. He has summarised what every self help / feel good about your self book has taken pages and pages and hours and hours of reading to get across. He has given scientific references for this phenomenon and not bored the pants off me, but he has given me more reading and listening to do. I read this book in under an hour. I wasn't going to review it because he is a friend of mine. I even just starred it on my kindle app and dismissed the option to review it. But this morning something amazing happened. Because I thought it, something just changed in my life that had been worrying me for a long time. A kind of eureka moment.

So if you truly want to turn your life around and you don't want to spend hours of reading - just skip to this book and give The Observer Effect a try.

Try the method for yourself next time you need a parking spot!

Thoroughly enjoyable !

This book presented a delightful perspective that enabled me to much more easily understand an otherwise convoluted subject.

Having followed the teachings of Abraham via Esther Hicks, I wondered exactly what I was doing wrong, what part I was missing. This book explained precisely the knowledge I was lacking.

I highly recommend this book to anyone searching for answers and understanding.
Written by an obviously brilliant and generous mind. Thoroughly enjoyable.

Wonderful to read

I enjoyed reading this book, I read it very fast because I found it fantastic and could not put it down. This is one of many I have read about the subject. This specific book clarified to me what it means to be an observer. I believe that thanks to this book I am a happier; as I read the book I learned to stop my thoughts and think of the present. Living in the present is harder than you think, but I learned to try it on the spot as soon as I found myself thinking too much. I recommend the book.
